Much of my info is in the company history. I was raised in Merced on a dairy farm and was very happy to get a job that didn't require getting up at 4:00 every morning. I was 16 years old when I started in 1959 and bought the business when I was 29. Married to Betty since 1982--our first year with computers. Reading, cooking and gardening are the real-life pleasures. I also make PDG (pretty damned good) jellies.
